Brothers Patrick & Seamus Kelly, the current Directors of the company are very proud to be the fourth generation of the Kelly family to be associated with their famous Kettle. Patrick & Seamus, like the rest of their family are extremely keen anglers and outdoor enthusiasts.  Born and raised on the shores of Lough Conn, Co. Mayo, Ireland, the brothers quickly developed a love of fishing and in their school years, spent every weekend and the holiday months fishing and acting as guides on Lough Conn and other waters in the West of Ireland.

Experienced Match anglers, the brothers have numerous Irish International 'Caps' and both were members of the (14 Man) Irish team which fished the Home Nations International Match on Llyn Trawsfynff water in Wales on 5th September 2008.  Seamus is also a member of the current Irish Team which is due to fish the Home Nations International on the Lake of Menteith, Scotland in September '09.

Indeed, the rest of the Kelly family are well known in both Irish & International Trout Fly-fishing circles
Their father Padraic, mother Carmel, grandfather Jim, and sisters Mary & Grainne have all represented Ireland and worn the 'Green Blazer' with distinction for both their respective Mens and Ladies Teams.  Padraic is just back from representing Ireland at the Spring International on Chew Valley, U.K. on 15th May.

Patrick (1995) & his father Padraic (2002) are both past winners of the prestigious Irish 'National' trout fly-fishing title.  Seamus is the current holder of the 'World Cup' Flyfishing title, a competition held annually on Lough Mask, Ireland. It is the largest trout fly-fishing competition in Ireland and for his troubles last August, Seamus won a New Boat, Outboard Motor, etc.

Seamus & Patrick are both Post-Graduates of University College Galway, Ireland and established management careers in International Marketing & Commercial Banking respectively before returning to take the helm of the Kelly Kettle company in the Summer of 2005.  Their experiences have been brought to bear on the business and the popularity of the 'Kelly Kettle' continues to grow every year.

The company is located in the West of Ireland, the spiritual home of the kettle and to this day, the Kelly family still provide a Ghillie (Angling Guide) service on Lough Conn and continue to brew up their famous Kettle for visting anglers at lunchtime.  If you are interested in Fishing on Lough Conn, Ireland, please feel free to contact Padraic Kelly on ++353 96 22250
