As there is no need to carry fuel, this kit will keep your pack light and save you money at the same time - never worry about running out of fuel again!   All fit neatly within the kettle itself for transport or storage.

Cost-FREE to run! Never worry about running out of fuel again. Simply gather deadwood, twigs, dry grass, pine cones or whatever natural fuel you find lying around in the area and you can bring 6 cups of water to the boil within a matter of minutes while at the same time (and using the same fuel) cook small amounts of food over the chimney (using the pot on the support) as the kettle boils. Hence, a very small amount of fuel will both boil your water for hot drinks, washing up, personal hygiene, etc. and cook your meal at the same time!

This kit works in ALL weather conditions.  The Hobo Camp Cook Stove makes camp cooking simple and easy.  Simply drop the Hobo Stove accessory onto the fire-base of the kettle and cook.  You can add fuel to the fire via the opening in the side of the stove, without removing the pot/pan from the top.  Outdoor cooking made easy! Enjoy your hot drinks and meal with our quality Camp Cups and Plates.

For more details on how best to use the Pot-Support and Cook set, please click here or go to our Frequently asked Questions page. If more than 1.2ltrs of boiling water are required (this kettle will easily and quickly boil water for 10-14 people within a matter of minutes) simply refill the kettle with water and place it back on the firebase. Refuel the chimney again and your kettle will boil again within approx. 3-5 minutes.

Please note: Per our instruction leaflets, the Kettle is not designed to be a water carrier. It has been designed to boil water extremely fast in all weather conditions using very little fuel. When filled with water, the Kelly Kettles should always be carried upright. If filled with water and carried on their sides or upside down, leakage can sometimes occur from the chimney top which is not always perfectly watertight.

Possibly the best outdoor related thing I have ever owned!Review by M. Perkins, U.K.

I just wanted to say a big thanks for possibly the best outdoor related thing I have ever owned. Had my scout kettle for just over a year, and now it is not an 'occasional' use item for camping, it has replaced my petrol and gas stoves. (Especially after adding the hobo stove). Not only is it incredibly practical and insanely fast, it is also good fun to use, and when used in a basecamp style way, collecting suitable fuel for the the duration gives you something to do if you get a bit bored.
I have probably now convinced at least 5 people to get one.

I am very fond of my Kettle. Sturdy quality, years and years of service and except that sometimes its harder to find dry twigs then others I haven,t found a single issue I would wanna improve (except maybe a bit sturdier bag).
The Scout for me is excactly the right size for 2 people. For single trips i will get me a Trekker model in Alu as well. (Posted on 07/04/2016)

After using my Kelly Kettle it was love at first boil, the stainless steel scout model has not let me down in fishing trips, camping, car trips to the beach etc.
The design is so simple and yet so effective - if it can burn you have fuel for a brew!
it really is that simple!
So many times I used to faff around with gas refills that hated cold weather (and wind!) the Kelly Kettle laughs in the face of a windy day and boils even faster!!! all I ever need with me is a bit of dry tinder - which compared to gas bottles is an absolute space and weight saver!
Using it at the beach was a doddle for a picnic - dry driftwood, seagrass, buckthorn and seaweed all burnt perfectly, Just the right size for 2 people to have a brew and some pasta. This cooking system is perfect! (Posted on 07/04/2016)
I couldn't be happier with my Kelly Kettle and will be bringing it on future expeditions. Review by G. Cooper

On my last expedition a friend and I paddled a canoe 600 miles down the Srepok and Mekong rivers through Cambodia and Vietnam. Along the way we stopped in several villages to teach CPR and abdominal thrusts for choking emergencies.
We needed a stove which could boil lots of water efficiently without burning up several bottles of hard to find liquid fuel over the weeks we paddled down the river. Kelly Kettle offered the perfect solution, an efficient burning wood stove which is excellent at boiling quantities of water as well as for cooking on. We even used our Medium Stainless Kettle with a Power Pot to keep an iPad and speaker charged for teaching classes and since the Kelly Kettle burns wood, we essentially had an unlimited supply of electricity.
We burned lots of fuel types like bamboo, leaves, bushes, drift wood, bark, and more. We almost always had a good fuel source to burn but for the few cases when we camped on a sandy island with no wood, we used an alcohol burner as a backup which works well to boil water in the kettle or cook on using only the fire base.
I couldn't be happier with my Kelly Kettle and will be bringing it on future expeditions. (Posted on 07/04/2016)
I'm impressed!Review by Taj, Colorado, USA

I'm impressed. About a decade ago I read about this design on an outdoors interest web site. It sounded like a good idea with a long history. However, it wasn't available locally. I found one at an outdoors outfitter store today, on clearance sale, so used a gift card to purchase this low risk gadget.

When I got home I took the Kelly Kettle out to my outdoor cooking area to test it. (I'm writing this in December and the yard is full of snow with 20 degree F temp. = -6.667 C) I swiped some coconut fiber from one of the wife's pots and snapped some dry twigs from the bottom of the blue spruce. With this, I kindled a small fire and put on a kettle of water. In no time there was a vortex of flame in the unit. I dropped in a chunk of natural lump charcoal from my smoker. As expected, the swirling twig flames produced a faster burn, but the charcoal readily lit and proved the potential for a cook fire after boiling water, which happened quickly.

So, what to do with this "gadget" when not camping? It will find a place to live in my pick-up truck along with my fly fishing gear and a stash of tea. I believe in roughing it smoothly, with minimal impact, and little trace that I've been around. The Kelly Kettle fits that ideal. (Posted on 07/04/2016)
